Last week I had the awesome opportunity to photograph my Mom with her super lovable hubby and their Harleys.  Um … how cool is that, right?  I have never even been able to get my Mom to volunteer for a picture!  But in this rare moment I was able to capture her (willingly and excitedly) with her precious Joel AND their passion of riding their Harleys.  It was just way FAB and a unique challenge for me to include motorcycles in a shoot.  And, all this right before mothers day!

As I looked through the images the evening of the shoot I was reminded of how much I admire my Mom and the passion with which she embraces her life.  She still lovingly mothers the children in her life (big and small), counsels with wisdom and thoughtful insight, laughs loudly, explores new opportunities to learn, overcomes obstacles with strength and grace, loves unconditionally, and rides a GIANT Harley for pete’s sake!  Way to go Mom … I still have so much to learn from you!

This was such a special session … thanks Mom!  AND, thanks for encouraging me to discover and explore my passions and to be and do my best in my life. Thanks for all you’ve taught me.  Thanks for all you sacraficed to make sure we kids were ok.  Thanks for creating the moments in your life that continue to be an example to me … I hope I did a good job capturing one of them for you.

Seriously, have you considered sending these to Harley? They’d look great in their showrooms! Great job!
